Golden Goniometer Award
This is a friendly competition among the Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant programs in Arizona to recognize the program with the highest percentage of student APTA members.  Educators throughout the state promote the importance and benefits of membership to their students, and we hope that clinicians who interact with students do the same.  Being a student APTA member provides an excellent introduction to our professional association, and helps to instill a sense of professionalism in our students.

Since launching this competition in early 2010, we have seen student membership at Arizona schools surge from just under 200 to 300 members! APTA and AzPTA continue to develop and implement new ways to support these students and to prepare them for their future careers.
