Title: Integration of Strength and Conditioning Concepts into Physical Therapy Practice

Presenters: Ethan Paster PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS; Steve Mills PTA, CPT; Tyler Gregory PT, DPT

Topic: Exercise has and always will be an integral part of physical therapy practice.  The purpose of this presentation is to build upon and expand your knowledge base on Strength and Conditioning principles regarding periodization, physiology, and the relevance of different rep schemes.  We will also discuss sport performance optimization, CrossFit, and Powerlifting.

Presenter Bios:
Ethan Paster PT, DPT, SCS, CSCS is a 2015 graduate of Saint Louis University.  Since graduating he has completed his Sports Residency with Bodycentral Physical Therapy and attained his SCS.  He currently is practicing at Bodycentral Physical Therapy as a PT and Director of Sports Medicine and Athletic Performance.  He has been doing CrossFit semi-competitively for 10 years and also enjoys soccer/rock climbing.  

Steve Mills PTA, CPT is a graduate of Pima Medical Institute (PTA) as well as University of Colorado Boulder (Associate of Business).  He has 15+ years experience in the Strength and Conditioning field as a personal trainer as well as now 5 years experience as a PTA.  He additionally has a rich background in combat sports including 15+ years experience in Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, and wrestling.  He has trained and competed in Powerlifting as well.

Tyler Gregory PT, DPT is a 2020 graduate of the University of Vermont.  He is currently a Sports Resident at Bodycentral Physical therapy.  He enjoys treating all sports with a special interest in combat athletes.  He enjoys skiing and Jiu Jitsu outside of the clinic.
