Title: Physical Therapy Clinical Practice Guideline for the Management of Individuals with Heart Failure

Presenter: Jaylen Hiller, PT, DPT 

Lecture Topic: The rising prevalence of heart failure is a rapidly worsening concern in the US. This Clinical Practice Guideline will assist physical therapists in the management of Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) while providing key education points that we can offer to other allied health professionals about the role that rehabilitation services can provide to patients with this diagnosis. 

Speaker Bio: Originally from Valdosta, GA, Jaylen graduated from Kennesaw State University (GA) with his B.S. in Exercise Science in May 2019. He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of South Carolina in 2022. Prior to graduation, he performed his final clinical rotation in the Emergency Department setting with PT Carleen Jogodka in Tucson, AZ in the summer of 2022. He now works in Charlotte, NC in both the Acute Care and Inpatient Rehabilitation settings.
