Course Overview: Credentialed Clinical Instructor Program (CCIP)
The program addresses:
· planning and preparing for physical therapy students during their clinical education experiences
· developing learning experiences
· supporting ongoing learning through questioning and effective feedback
· developing skills of performance evaluation
· identifying and managing students with exceptional situations
· identifying legal implications for clinical educators, including issues presented by ADA legislation
*Clinicians from other health care professions are also welcome to enroll. They are eligible to receive 1.2 CEUs (12 CCUs), but will not receive the Clinical Instructor Credential. CCIP courses regularly include speech therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and more.
