Date: Wednesday August 9th, 6:30-7:30 pm

Lecture Title:  The uncanny relationship of CN V and CN X, how they affect every physical therapy treatment, and how to master vagus nerve efficiency

Sharik Peck photoSpeaker: Sharik L Peck, PT, MRC

Lecture Topic:  There are anatomical and physiologic links between the trigeminal nerve and the vagus nerve that makes it possible to enhance either feelings of anger, fear, anxiety, pain (increasing inflammation) or the sense of well-being and peace that your patient experiences in association with their visit to your office. The complex interaction between the vagus and trigeminal nerves is becoming clearer through recent research that has noted their connections through nerve stimulating studies related to treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders.  Let us explore these relationships to help improve vagal tone and efficiency, making it possible to positively enhance every therapeutic intervention you perform.

Speaker Bio: Sharik comes to the brain health and healing world from a 29-year background in physical therapy with a bachelor’s degree from University of Utah, a Master’s degree in Counseling from Utah State University, and a passion for brain and neurologic retraining.  His passion was born through his experiences learning how to function again after multiple injuries including fractures of the thoracic and cervical spine and a vertebral artery hemorrhagic dissection stroke at the age of 17.  Sharik is the CEO  of Rezzimax LLC and the inventor of the Rezzimax tools and techniques for pain relief and brain entrainment therapies.
